Shalom beloved,
God is alive, and He does not mock from Himself. Today, when people in Lithuania trying to find pagan roots of our nation and Easter identifies with resurrection of nature – God chastened that kind of speeches and in the middle of April sending snow to us. Some people thinking, that nature making jokes, or God is confused and mixed places of Easter and Christmas. But I‘m deeply convinced that Most High is not confused and even He‘s not joking, but telling to us, that Passover is not a feast of resurrection of nature, but this is the feast when His beloved Son resurrected from the dead. This is a special day, when we need to celebrate victory over sin, hell and death and rejoice, because gift of eternal life was given to mankind. Congratulations for everyone! Let the resurrection power be active all the time in your life!

Thoughts about eternity
These days in my life was interesting events. Because my grandmother was very old, and in December when I was in Israel, she was celebrating her 90th B-Day, I really was willing to see her, and Thursday before Easter I came to her town in West Lithuania. I don’t know that it would be the last days of her life, and after few days spending with her, I came back to Vilnius. On Resurrection Sunday we had meal with my parents, and we call to grandma. The same evening I was in worship concert in Kaunas. My dad called to me. Sad message that grandma pass away disconnected me from the concert. That message really touched my heart, and I start thinking about eternity. Only one hope for me was that she 1,5 year ago received Jesus like her Savior. I know that never ever on this earth I can talk with her again, but I’m sure that one day I will meet her in the house of our Heavenly Father, and we will be together for all eternity!
Resurrection Feast in Vilnius main square
That Thursday, when I came to visit my grandma, I got a call from organizer of Resurrection Feast. She offered for me to play in evangelization event at Vilnius main square. That kind of grace coming down from heaven not every day, so I received that like from the Lord, and start contacting with musicians. And that was quit hard, because in Eastern period people planning they time. Only violin player Vakarė was able to join to this project. And not looking to bad circumstances – sad message about grandmother’s funeral, cold weather and many small difficulties, 2nd day of Easter – Monday we was playing in Resurrection Feast. I invite you all to see few our songs and also listen how the sound of shofar welcoming members of Jesus March in Lithuanian capital Vilnius:

Plan of God
After Resurrection Feast we had house church meeting. As we doing very often – we pray for each other needs, and I shared my heart desire to share message of God’s love to my family members at the funeral. We gave this need in the prayer to Jesus and agree to believe, that God will answer to this. One sister gave to me poetry book “When it would be sad in your heart” written by Lithuanian sister Jolanta Toločkaitė. She found for me poetry written specially for grandmother. That was words from the Lord especially for this time. So, on Tuesday when we came to funeral chambers in Telšiai, I read that poetry standing near coffin, and in the very end of my reading to our room came Catholic priest and all people was standing and listening poetry in respectful silence.
When we came to cemetery it was traditional Catholic funeral liturgy, and when it was finished, my dad’s classmate was reading few poetries. After that it looks, like everything was over, and about 30-40 people group was planning go to they cars, but my mother pushed me, and told, that I need go to speak. So, I believe that was perfect plan of God for that time and that place. I know how is hard in that kind of moments to make step of faith and start to speak, but really it’s enough just to open your mouth and God is filling you with words from Heaven. So, from His grace I shared short message of Salvation, and with big confidence I told, that I believe, that my grandma is in Heaven, and this is not because of her religious life (actually she was not religious), but because she made the most important decision in her life – she invited Jesus in to her heart, and only Jesus is ticket to Heaven. And when we was standing on the grave, I invited everyone who was there to make that most important decision and invite Jesus in to they lives. And after that when all of us prayed Salvation prayer, we was going to the restaurant for meal and fellowship.
I know even that day on earth was sad, but all Heaven was rejoicing, because in that small crowd was people, who was praying that kind of prayer for very first time, and they gave they hearts to Jesus. So, I ask all of you to pray for those people, that Holy Spirit can lead them, teach them and help them to grow, and God’s love let’s transform they lives.
God’s promises
How is symbolic, that grandma pass away especially that day, when we was celebrating the most important event in the history – resurrection of Jesus Christ. How is symbolic, that people standing on the threshold of eternity open they hearts and inviting resurrected Jesus in to they lives. How is symbolic, that His Word speaking to us so personal, and He open those things, that is for us important now and here. One day before funeral Lord comforted me with His Word. I don’t know why I had desire to read prophet Isaiah, but this scripture really encouraged me:
Your dead shall live; together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust; for your dew is like the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. (Is 26:19)
God is not promise breaker, if He promised to resurrect the righteous dead, He will do it. And that righteousness is not from us, this is not because of our good works. Our righteousness is from the Lord. Not because of what we had done, but because what He had done. He shared His blood for our sins and destroyed them on the cross. When He resurrected from the dead He gave to us eternal life like gift. He justified us, so through faith we are righteous. And is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Stay in Him!
